Strategy of Keyword Phrases toward gaining Search Engine Rankings

Keyword phrases pose a variety of implications.  There are 3 basic ways of being found on any given keyword phrases; by free, manual submission which we do not recommend solely, paid submission which we do & recommend, and bidding.  Bidding involves paying per click while paid submission does not.  We only suggest bidding on a very small level at best. 

Paid submission is is the very most effective tool for garnishing the whole package of relevant, highly searched phrases and excellent search engine rankings.  We want to use phrases that get lots of searches and are specific, because those lead to more sales.

For single word phrases, "fishing" for instance, paid submission is not intended to be the vehicle to drive 1st page rankings. It's simply not usually possible due to the nature of search engines today.  There are millions and millions of pages competing for single word phrases such as "chocolate" and "gifts" and even "fishing."  The way to get to the top of the search engines on these phrases is often through bidding; a very costly option indeed.  The first 3 results on may engines including Yahoo, MSN and many others come through bidding at Overture. 

Another alternative is to utilize Looksmart.com and pay fifteen cents per click to be in the web directory listings, that sometimes follow sponsored listings and precede the web page listings.  If there are web directory listings (there are at MSN, while there are none at Hot Bot, etc.) the way to appear in these listings is to go through Looksmart.com and pay fifteen cents per click, 5,00 clicks or a minimum $750 per month.

On the other hand, not to appear contradictory, with relation primarily to Google (in some but not each instance), secondarily to Inktomi (when there are limited web directory listings for a single word phrase), we are successful at getting some single word phrases with top rankings.  This is due to a different approach; one that is not usually possible, because of web directory listings for most single word phrases, at the "paid submission-only engines."  This is a very time consuming process, and not a quick one for results.  Special arrangements can be made in some cases, considering the labor intensive, time consuming nature of demands for some single word phrases with top rankings.

Using the example of "fishing" a Lake Erie Fishing Charter company would not want to do paid submission on the phrase "fishing" but rather "Lake Erie Charters" because it's relevant, it's what they do, and people search for it.  "Fishing" could imply Alaskan, Caribbean, Equator, Deep Sea, so on and so forth.  It's simply too general and the only way to achieve a #1-3 or 10 ranking is by bidding and paying per click.  

Paid Submission is the most economical and effective tool for generation of excellent Search Engine rankings on your keyword phrases.  We want to use phrases that get lots of searches and are specific, BECAUSE THOSE LEAD TO MORE SALES!!!!!!!
